This post compares two of the popular tools that provide Ajax like behaviour on the client side: AjaxControlToolkit and jQuery UI. AjaxControlToolkit is a open-source assembly hosted on Codeplex. jQuery UI is a open-source, cross-browser compatible UI framework built on top of jQuery.
