I'm not really sure why this is being kicked, the author doesn't have any legitimate points on why WebForms need to be abandoned, his talking points all have to do with better development when using WebForms is needed from the ASP.NET community as a whole. Developers like us that are members here are ones that really care about development and it's up to us to really try make other developers understand why proper development and writing good clean html is important. I wrote a much longer response to this on the post.

I think the author of this article needs to take an English class. There are spelling and grammar mistakes all over the place. I couldn't get past the first paragraph because of the poor English.
I agree Vincent, it was a little hard to read but I tried to look past that to actually read his point which is what I found really to be lacking. I assume the author has english as a second language.... I really hope.

Agree with the comments from dotNetChris above. No idea why this is being kicked...Article has no cohesive "argument" (In quotes because I use that term loosely).

The post was poorly written and lacked any substantial content. That said, I do /somewhat/ agree with the heart of what he's trying to say. That's why I kicked it.
WebForms can be developed very nicely with careful consideration to usage. The issue isn't the technology it's the unskilled application of it that many developers use it.
