Just found this while researching how to serialize and deserialize collection properties to the design surface. This is pretty much all you need to know. READ THIS if you ever create a custom WebControl! (via <a href="http://west-wind.com/WebLog/default.aspx">Rick Strahl's great blog</a>. Don't be scared away by his pic, there's tons of great info in there!)
