Instead of the usual technical presentation on the merits of SharePoint, my focus was more on the change in mindset required coming from ASP.NET. Not being aware of the extra baggage can make learning SharePoint a frustrating experience. For even though ASP.NET is a cornerstone of SharePoint, it’s so much more. And different.
