Pretty Good .NET to JS Conversion(codeplex.com)

Axial, a new project on CodePlex, does a pretty good job of converting .NET code from the codebehind to JavaScript. You can use the same function to do validation on the server and client side, it can change css, and it has AJAX and jQuery integration. There are a few samples on CodePlex that show how to get up and running quickly.
