Microsoft's been filling out the Web Stack with more and more right-sized LEGO pieces lately. NuPack is a package management system for .NET. The goal of NuPack is to make the process of incorporating third party libraries into your solutions as simple as possible.

This is Microsoft actually officially contributing to an OSS project and accepting contributions, not just patches. Everyone on the project is contributing to the same repository. Even though the blog post focuses on the fact that this is for the web, it should still be usable for non-web projects as well.
