So! You need to generate thumbnails! I think this is common nowadays and everybody likes to use more images instead of those boring texts. And we need to find a way to generate thumbnails and images in predefined sizes from all those huge images that users might upload. Generating a thumbnail is not hard at all. But since the code is not intelligent and cannot understand which part of image is more important, then sometimes the generated thumbnail might be useless. Consider below example. I used a wide wallpaper of Need For Speed game to show the problem...
