I agree with the second comment; link blogs can be really annoying. Blogging in general though is a good practice to get into so long as you have something interesting to say.

Of course you should blog!

Blogging is fun and I like reading others' blogs about coding. With coding it is more important to think about it than to stare at a text file and type in characters. Blogs help me think about coding while not coding.

In academics, you publish or you die. In development, you blog or you stagnate.

Which do you think is a better scenario: You apply for a job and hand your interviewer a few printed sheets of your code, or you give your interviewer your blog's URL, which has a year of your work, showcasing your coding skills, knowledge, community spirit, etc etc etc.

Which person would you hire?
