Why wouldn't I just create a script to convert his OPML to an RSS file? Anyone know what the biggess benefit is to embracing the OPML file?

You can import an OPML file into most any reader. This makes it a snap for anybody to have an instant .NET reading list. Though one could certainly create something like the Original Signal (http://www.originalsignal.com) sites for .NET as well.
ODD - thats what I figured but Google Reader doesnt handle it .. ERROR MESSAGE: No feed available for "http://www.webthingsconsidered.com/dotnet-blogs.opml"
That is odd. I don't see where you can specify a URL for an OPML file in Google reader though? I can save the file locally and then import/upload into Google Reader without any problems.
