DNK really needs a duplicate URL check or users who can be bothered to check.

At the very least, url validation should be in place - like a unique constraint on a column maybe?

I would like to inform the user submitting the story if a story with a similar URL exists allowing them to make an informed decision. I don't want to impose a strict unique URL policy as sometimes it is valid for a URL to be submitted twice.
