How do you check the state of your database or if auto update statistics is enabled for example. Here is a block of code that will give you 27 options/states that your DB is in. Just run it in your SQL editor

Does anyone know if there is a performance hit with turning on Auto Update Statistics and if so any benchmarks concerning the performance changes?
