VistaDB Express is the free for non commercial use version of VistaDB. This is a long overdue update from the 3.3 version up to the current 3.4 line.

No, you do not have to register the express edition. Close the registration app like the dialog says. It is optional and not required to run VistaDB Express.

As a note - this edition is no longer available. The Express product was pulled when 4.0 was released.
