Active Directory (AD) is a technology created by Microsoft that provides a variety of network services, including LDAP-like directory services, Kerberos based authentication, and DNS based naming and other network information. However, if Active Directory is a part of the backbone of the network and infrastructure, the guide to bring it back online in case of an incident needs to be as clear and concise as possible.
This book describes the most common scenarios while creating a directory and how to properly recover the infrastructure from them.
