Just as he was the first to talk about IE7, Bill Gates kept the tradition alive and discussed IE8 at the Mix ‘n Mash event here on campus yesterday.

Now all we need is someone from the IE Team to actually talk about what is going on in IE8... what is fixed, what is still broken, what is implemented properly now, what is added, etc.

You're right. I can't wait to hear the details. IE7, in my opinion, is unusable. I've switched to FireFox completely on my home machines. IE7 crashes all the time when there are many tabs open. It just stops responding and you lose your session. Happens on every machine I tried. Lets hope IE8 can compete with FireFox.
