I was under the impression that IE8 *did* pass the Acid 2 test. Has something changed?

Microsoft made a great decision to make some changes to the current IE8 beta for standards compliance.
We already kicked some articles about that.
Please keep in mind IE8 is a DEVELOPER beta at this point.
