The “Upcoming Stories” RSS in Dot-Net-Kicks is full of SPAM. Here’s a idea on how to avoid it: Use a .NET captcha: ask questions that are difficult to guess but easy to answer. Read and Kick. It will help us all.

If spam is really becomming a problem, I suggest adding the anti spam database Akismet (http://akismet.com/). There is a DotNet Api (http://www.codeplex.com/Wiki/View.aspx?ProjectName=AkismetApi and http://www.arnebrachhold.de/2006/04/18/akismet-anti-spam-library-for-the-dotnet-framework/). I don't know how much $$$ is behind dotnetkicks.com but I guess it's okay to try out the free API Keys (http://akismet.com/personal/) prior to buying the commercial key (http://akismet.com/commercial/) (5$ per month fee for sites making more than 500$ per month.)

Volunteer to become a mod. More mods will take care of it.

Ban .cz IP's? That's kinda racist imo :)
