Make your page titles they ways they should be... and don't load them down with keywords.

However, this is easier said than done. Search engines reward search terms/phrases found in the page title and afford the document additional relevance weight when finding them there. While stripped down titles such as: Home or Product Information may be more aesthetically pleasing, they do not adequately describe the document for the search engine or the user. While no one should "stuff keywords" into a title, a random assortment of descriptive terms and phrases that map to the page content will do more to encourage the customer to click through than discourage them. And that is what it is all about, isn't it?
