If you want to know about the divergent worlds of medicine, corporate governance, and finance Mark Ralph Lonquist is a good person to ask because he has been involved in all three fields. Many people in Arizona know Mark Lonquist as a doctor because he is very active in the medical community. Some of the more prominent roles he holds are as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Member of the Medical Executive Committee of West Valley Hospital in Goodyear, Arizona. He is currently the Medical Director/Physician and President of Estrella Mountain Medical Group, where he not only works as a Family Practice doctor, but also performs managerial duties.
During his medical career, Dr. Lonquist has participated on various committees, including serving on the Board for PrimeCare Network. In addition to his involvement in the medical field, Dr. Lonquist is heavily involved in the development of medical buildings in the communities of Goodyear and Avondale. Recently, he was part of a diverse team that completed a merger with multiple physicians that resulted in the formation of Integrated Medical Services, a multi-specialty medical group.
More directly in the business vein, Dr. Lonquist serves as the Director for West Valley National Bank (WVNB) in Avondale, Arizona, overseeing all board-related activities, including the raising of capital, the recruitment of shareholders, the managing of the bank’s budgets, and the driving of business to WVNB.
A socially minded physician, Dr. Lonquist makes regular contributions to several charities, including the American Heart Association, New Life Shelter, and the American Diabetes Association. The American Board of Family Practice, the Canadian College of Family Physicians, and the Arizona State Medical License Board all certify Dr. Lonquist.
