Processes and threads in developer life(osmirnov.net)

If you're a developer, how often do you interrupt by issues that do not relate to your current problem and do not require urgent attention? And how often do you do that? Does it depend on your position? In this post we are interested in only one word - consequences. All the arguments are written in technical terms, based on those participants who had recently been developers. (The developer in the text can be replaced by a tester, designer, DBA, etc.)
