Today, the Bing team released a Beta WPF version of their Bing maps control! It is easy to use, works with Silverlight, designed with multi-touch in mind and much more.

I've used the Silverlight version, and it was pleasant to work with. Especially compared to the javascript based google maps plugin.
It's nice to see the desktop getting some love ;-)

I haven't tried it yet but it looks promising. I was using the Subgurim controls for ASP.NET applications. I would assume this would be similar except not based around the google maps API.
