Microsoft Delivers Silverlight 1.0, Extends Support to Linux(money.cnn.com)

Microsoft announced yesterday the official release of Silverlight 1.0, a versatile .NET development framework that makes it possible for developers to build web applications that incorporate rich media content and elaborate user interfaces. Microsoft has announced plans to extend full Silverlight support to the Linux operating system in collaboration with Novell.
