Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 Is Available For Download Now(silverlightexamples.net)

Like I told you guys over the past few weeks, Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 was to be released on March 05. Yes, confirmed! Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1.0 binaries, SDK, source code and documentation are now available for download.

Same here... I've installed the sdk, (removed previous versions and kb949325), started VS2008 and created a Silverlight Application project. For some reason controls won't drop onto the Page.xaml design surface. I can add controls into the Grid element in Xaml window and they appear in the designer.

Am I doing something completely brain dead?

To answer my own question - the designer in B1 is preview only. You can drag and drop the controls into the xaml view. Source http://silverlight.net/forums/t/10694.aspx

In order to use the xaml designer, use expression blend.
