Yes but how much of it is from people who want it. I think it will achieve critical mass when it is downloaded by 1.5 million people per day who really want to use it.

I find it great that a alternative to flash is on the market. Competition = innovation. Microsoft has big buttons they can push on, when wanting to distribute silverlight.

Microsoft has a whole platform that is twined together. They won't have the same amount of users as flash overnight but their strategy in the long run seems like it will work out well.

So that means maybe 250,000 per day in reality? Becuase I know I have downloaded it AT LEAST 9 times when I visit the MS site. It keeps saying I don't have it and must download it again... grrrr
