what composite pattern can do

it seems that the c# project file going from HeadFirstDesignPatternsInCsharp cannot be open with MV5.0. I have a GUI that are recurring (at least twice), and i am thinking of using composite patterns to solve this problem, is this possible? Creating a leaf and nodes
