Virtualization Lite: VMware enters the Data Center

The author talks about how VMware deployments in data centers are scaling back the business case for virtualization in order to allow existing security solutions to protect hypervisor VLANs. This gives VMware a quick, frictionless entre into the data center but isn't a viable long term strategy.
