URL Rewriting Made Easy

When I first thought of the idea that my app needed Url Rewriting to be implemented, I put it off for months thinking that it would be a daunting task that I really didn't want to tackle... I mean, what is wrong with EVERY address to look like this: "Default.aspx?ID=54"?
