Populate dropdown based on selection of other dropdown in asp.net

There are several situations where we need to populate second or third dropdown list based on selection of first or second dropdwon. For example populating state DropDown based on selection of Country from Country DropDown list and then population Cities DropDown based on selectedIndex of State
