Now, Microsoft is introducing a new, extensible command line interface (CLI) shell and scripting language product called Windows PowerShell—aka Microsoft Shell (MSH) and once code named Monad. PowerShell runs on the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework. And, also, unlike the Unix and Linux CLIs, PowerShell is object-oriented.
