ANTS Profiler Saves Me From A Sordid Fate

"It's an ancient story of doing something dumb in haste, forgetting about it, and then regretting it at leisure." Carl Niedner recounts how he found his latest and greatest creation suddenly plagued with long loading times. He explains how he eventually achieved a 120x speed increase, fifteen minutes after downloading ANTS Performance Profiler. Read the full story.

Have you seen the new ANTS profiler?

Red-Gate has put out a new version (4.0) of their ANTS profiler. The updates to the performance profiler blew me away.

They (spammers) look like ants from here

Since adding some basic user visualisation to DotNetKicks.com the other day, I have become slightly addicted to viewing the who's online page. This morning I added colour coding to the users based on their status - green for new users, blue for existing users and red for spammers.
