RadPop is a free Caller ID monitor for on your windows computer. Apparently no one dug a Web Monitor so I found a more practical use for a very cool pop-up. I have added Caller ID monitoring to the RadPop application. There are plenty of additionally things I can think to add to this application but the really cool thing was I deployed this with one click deploy. So if anyone did install my application once they rerun the application the new revision will be installed automatically.

Here is a free and handy tool to have around for anyone that has ever wanted to monitor when a web site has changed. This is a very small install and a very small task to alert you when your favorite page has a new update. RadPop also hides so that it is nearly unnoticeable. The program nicely alerts you to when changes occur with a MSN style popup. You can configure it to continually watch for changes to your favorite pages by dragging it to your startup folder.

On Dec. 11, 2007, Microsoft is teaming up with the Wisconsin .NET Users Group to throw a special holiday part. There will be Free food and prizes, just like at every other group meeting. Do you want to get Visual Studio 2008 Free? Just bring in your computer and install it at the party. Those that install VS'08 at the party will get a full licensed copy of Visual Studio 2008 mailed to them within a couple weeks. This is so awesome; I know I'll be bringing my laptop! I wonder how many people who don't have laptops will be bringing in their desktops? C'mon don't be shy...

ASP.NET Forums is gone and Community Server's not free

What happened to the download links for ASP.NET Forums on the www.asp.net website? As soon as Community Server 1.0 came out the links disapearred. I didn't really think of it at the time, but now that I want to set up a Forum I would like the old ASP.NET Forums. I just looked at the CommunityServer.org website and it doesn't even look like there is a free version anymore. The cheapest version is the Personal Edition and it costs $99!
