Microsoft IE8 and Google Chrome - Processes are the New Threads(hanselman.com)

With the release of Google Chrome last week, many of you were surprised to notice that opened tabs ran in a separate process, rather than simple a separate tab. This is a technique that has often been used by Unix developers. Lead Program Manager Scott Hanselman discusses some of the benefits of running in a separate process.
