this is awesome! But how can we use vista built in search like this?

Good question. I don't have Vista so I couldn't tell you. I wrote some interfaces for desktop searching and implemented it for Google Desktop, and I plan on doing the same for Windows Desktop Search (WDS) when I have time ... I imagine the built in searching for Vista will be similar.
