:( subsonic borrows stuff even class names from open source project www.castleproject.org. This feature of automatically linking form values to entities is in monorail since ages... But yet the kiddies discover it in subsonic and are .. amazed. Ignorance is a source of excitement, it seems...

And yet more, dotnetkicks is flooded by a small community of subsonic fans that kick their posts in a row. Amazing how subsonic gets in front with these little ants...

geez, could you people be a any more holier than art thou? subsonic, monorail, castle... as long as people are doing DAL stuff, what's the difference? subsonic is the rage now, get over it.

liviu, I find this stuff not particularly interesting nor innovative myself, but there's no need to manifest your disappointment here. If you like MonoRail or whatever just go with it. If it has such features since ages then good for you and everyone else using it, but if SubSonic introduces something unknown to the ASP.NET community to date this is something good in my opinion.

Get over it really. Yeah monorail has been around for ages...Damn shame that the monorail community doesn't do more to get it out there and into peoples faces....Remember it's not about doing it first, it's about doing it the best...and in SubSonic's case it has struck a chord with lots of devs, hell it even struck a chord with Microsoft.

Didn't monorail borrow stuff from ruby on rails? Oops, now I borrowed this sentence from Kevin Isom.
