Visual Studio Tip: Split Views(kevinwilliampang.com)

There are a couple of ways to get a split view in Visual Studio. Both are incredible time savers that I use daily. The first is one that most developers will be aware of, but the second seems to be one that many do not seem to know about.

  • "Kick It" text
  • "Kick It" background
  • kick count text
  • kick count background
  • border

I know donetkicks can be simple sometimes but this takes the biscuit! Even my mum knows about the split pane, it's been in Word for about 15 years.

This is a simple thing, but still a good tip. And I've come across others that didn't know you can do this in VS.

The funny thing is that I didn't know this feature was available in Word until now. :-P
