If you have worked with the ASP.NET 2.0 GridView control, I am sure you were more than a little surprised when you realized there is no decent way to display the Header or Footer rows of a GridView that is bound to an empty DataSource. Ruby.NET moves to open source community model(infoq.com)

"As heralded previously, we are now ready to move to a new open source community model. While we at QUT will continue to be heavily involved in the project, we plan to transfer full control and ownership of the project to the open source community. To signify this new beginning, the new project will be named simply "Ruby.NET" (rather than "Gardens Point Ruby.NET") and a new licence agreement will be developed (by the community).
