This new editor will make the CodeSmith Template editing experience about 10 times better than it was before (yes, that is a scientific measurement), and that is not even counting that it will be integrated right into Visual Studio. You can now handle errors inside of the MVC pipeline. The new MVC3 GlobalFilters and HandleErrorAttributes give you direct programmatic control of handling your 500 errors in the same way that ASP.NET and CustomErrors give you configurable control of handling your HTTP error codes. Think of it as a routing table specifically for your Exceptions, it's pretty sweet!
