The new info is that it's the add this and dzone widgets that are causing the problem. For me it is usually the advert in the top left.

Hey, Mikej, you always submit stories from i-programmer, right? That website never EVER loads for me. Both the addthis and dzone widgets RAPE your website. They completely block loading of content for over a minute on my side. Load time according to Chrome is *1.3 minutes*! Dude, that sucks ass.
