Scott Guthrie walks us through using Visual Studio 2005 to build a data access layer for the Northwind database. He will be using the resulting DAL in soon to be published tutorials including master details, filtering, sorting, paging, 2-way data-binding, editing, insertion, deletion, hierarchical data browsing, hierarchical drill-down and optimistic concurrency.

I think I'd have to agree with there Gavin. There's barely a post goes by from Scott that isn't worth kicking!
