If you have chosen a VS theme with a background color other than white, the code in the Code Definition window may be hard to read, as it is set to a light color by default (or mine was, anyway).

To change the background color of the Code Definition Window to match your general Editor background color, choose this:

Tools > Options > Environment > Fonts and Colors > Text Editor > Definition Window Background
