Use "Find As You Type" Search in Visual Studio 2005(howtogeek.com)

"Visual Studio 2005 includes a great feature that they call Incremental Search, but I like to call “find as you type”, because that’s really what it does. To start using this feature, just hit Ctrl + i once, and you will see the cursor change to an arrow with binoculars. At this point, you can just start typing, and Visual Studio will automatically start finding."

That is an excellent tip. I have been using CTRL+F this whole time. I guess I need to spend a little more time learning the IDE.

This is a good tip. After using Firefox's "find as you type" functionality I've grown used to it and hate that IE 7 still uses the antiquated "find" box. The only annoying thing about VS 2005's solution is that 1) you can't type fast and 2) after finding what you wanted you have to click the screen with your mouse in order to "release" the "find as you type". It would be nice to just hit "escape" (as in Firefox).
