This is a great option for comments. If you like to write comments, and like them to all line up on the right side of your code, then this trick is for you. Virtual space lets you click in any white space in yoru document and start typing. This is kind of hard to describe in text, but the video makes it perfectly clear, how to turn on and off the option, as well as how the option is used.
