Visual Studio 2010 will be released to market on April 12th, a big day for Microsoft’s Developer Tools Division. It also promises to be a big day for all developers and software teams building applications in the Visual Studio IDE. Visual Studio 2010 draws heavily on the work of companion product groups at Microsoft, particularly those working on WPF 4, Microsoft Extensibility Framework (MEF), Silverlight 4, and SharePoint.
