Not really .NET related. Unless its about Iron Ruby or whatever the Ruby .NET implementation is called, then this might get deleted.

I think it is worth staying on. (1) Getting familiar with Ruby will help those trying to learn IronRuby (2) Learning rails may show you concepts you can apply to your .Net projects.
