Locking the Workstation Programmatically(www.blackwasp.co.uk)

Microsoft Windows operating systems include the ability to lock the workstation. This leaves programs running but prevents access by unauthorised users, requiring a password to unlock the computer and continue working.

I think our users would get a little upset if we decided to just lock their workstation for them, I'm guessing it requires privilege escalation (UAC) but the user wouldn't necessarily know that was what it was for.

I think it has some uses. Perhaps not just locking workstations for fun though. ;)
