Bugs tend to mean something that doesn't work. "This isn't what I expected" isn't a bug; if anything it is a failure of documentation.

It's probably a documentation failure and a failure to understand how the bindings are actually working. In either case, it definately seems like this is more of a "this didn't do what I expected" case rather than an actual bug.
