I've never got into specifically following the PRISM guidelines, I've just done a sort of pick and choose approach. Maybe if I'll have time I'll take advantage of the free course.

Prism is a set of libraries than enforce these guidelines too. I really wouldn't even bother trying to follow Prism guidelines for the most part unless you're actually using the libs.
