We are working on totally reworking how the front page of DotNetKicks works and the new version is now in public beta. Check it out, use it, and give us your feedback!

I like it! It would be nice to have visited links be a different color so you can easily tell what you've visited while scanning through the list.

Good call, we will definitely do that. (along with some other tweaks to the design for better spacing, less noise)

I do like that the new design is much cleaner and easier to scan. Just a suggestion though... how about having the poster's name the same color and size as the rest of the second line. Also for consistency how about making the 3rd line the same font color throughout. I'm biased towards Hacker News and am new to DotNetKicks so take it with a grain of salt.

I'm not a fan, after this goes live I might stop using this site entirely. This ruined the only part of the site I liked which was the list of articles the chrome of the rest of the site I haven't liked since the initial release of it and I can ignore it due to the content. Replacing it with this version you leave in the chrome that's lackluster at best and make the content as equally lackluster.

I wish the outgoing links weren't all tagged with nofollow (I use an extension that highlights these)... not sure why this is the intention of the site as front page articles are obviously not spam sites. Oh well, DotNetShoutout at least adds some google juice to front page articles, another reason to subit there first!
