What is new in .Net framework 4.5?

The post has all the new features in .Net framework 4.5 in a single poster. What is nice about the poster is that it marks the feature as a significant improvement, a performance improvement, asynchronous improvement wherever applicable. It is definitely nice poster to zoom and print.

I see they've updated it for F# 3.0, those type providers are pretty awesome.

Just a shame that the SQL type provider is based around LINQ to SQL, in my view... It's deprecated, right?

Heh, it's hard to tell what's deprecated and what's not anymore with Microsoft...

Yeah, table adapters still aren't deprecated heh! Then there's COM... which clearly isn't, although they definitely gave the wrong impression at one point. And changed names a stupid number of times heh.
