Do you love Git? Are you working on a project that’s using Subversion? Well, did you know that Git actually integrates quite nicely with Subversion right out of the box? I’ll show you what you need to know to get started with Git and Subversion, and I’ll show you the workflow I use for keeping my work in sync with everyone else on my team.

Besides not being able to share this new-found power with other members of your team, using git-svn (or if you've drunk the mercurial kool-aid like me http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/HgSubversion) really lets you work with a true git workflow without disrupting others. It's a good way to slowly introduce your team members to DVCS. Just show them how easy it is to merge and they'll be begging you to install it ;-)
