Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) is a compatibility layer for running native Linux binaries on Windows. It allows users to run a GNU/Linux environment - including most command-line tools, utilities, and applications directly on the Windows operating system. Microsoft now releases a new updated version of the WSL, which now brings a new logo, an updated Linux Kernel version 5.10.74.3, and more.
